Two Types of CONVERGE   Slide Shows

You must wait several seconds until all slides are downloaded before a slide show begins.
(If you have a dial-up connection, you will have to wait from 8 to 30 seconds for the show to begin, depending on the number and size of the slides.)

You can click Next and Back to go from slide to slide.   (If your Windows display setting is at a very low resolution, you may need to select "Fullscreen" to make Next and Back visible.)

About the Slide Shows

The sequences of slides contained in all the slide shows occur naturally in CONVERGE (no programming is necessary).  In almost all cases, each next slide can be generated by clicking on a spinner button or command button as in:

Because these dialog boxes are "non-modal", you can do many other things while you are viewing--for example--some graphical and numerical convergence: you can zoom in and out, rescale, pan, change the size of the graph window, etc.

Also, the entire graphing environment (including the function) you want to use for the convergence can be stored in a function file and then easily retrievied when you select the menu choice that enables you to generate the convergence.
